The Book of Intrusive Game Design explores the impact of in-game advertising on player experience and purchasing behavior, analyzing how visual cues shape subconscious reactions. Through game observations, interviews, and an examination of design and monetization strategies, it uncovers the effects of immersive and non-immersive ads.
Presented as both a research guide and a fantasy tale—styled like a classic text adventure—the narrative follows a journey through a world corrupted by an evil lord, transforming it into a realm of endless microtransactions.
Munch is an AR-powered learning platform designed to engage children (6-10) in making healthier food choices while grocery shopping. Placed in supermarkets, it encourages kids to pack their own nutritious lunchboxes as animated fruits and vegetables come to life, dancing and sharing fun facts.
Our team built a wooden stand with a monitor and camera, testing it in a local Edeka. The results? Kids loved the experience, making shopping both fun and educational—while parents enjoyed a moment of peace.
Recycle Ninja is a recycling app tailored for tourists, expats, and new residents unfamiliar with the German recycling system. I was tasked to use AR technology, and designing the UI. It features an interactive friends list for friendly competition, as well as comprehensive maps and guides to explain the German Pfand system.
The logo, a blend of a ninja's mask and the infinity symbol, embodies the concept of recycling.
I attended Sukromna Skola Umeleckeho Priemyslu Bohumila Bacu in Bratislava, Slovakia, where my final assignment involved redesigning the school's logo and branding.
The original logo was inspired by the "Bauhaus" aesthetic, and the client requested a similar style.
I used an isometric grid as the foundation for the new design language.
